Blessing of the Animals

The 3rd Annual Pet Blessing was held at First Presbyterian Church on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at 3:00pm. Each year we continue to grow and it is so exciting to share our worship service with the community at large. We seek to highlight God's creatures in the myriad ways they bless our lives. It was wonderful to welcome so many first-time visitors to First Presbyterian Church.

Our community partners played such a big part of the day and we want to recognize them for their contributions. Sarah Ogletree of Creation Care Alliance; Amber Lowery, Executive Director of Mitchell County Animal Rescue (MCAR), Lt. Jesse English & K-9 Kivo of Mitchell County Sheriff's Department and Ranger Conrad Shirk & K-9 Bandit of the National Park Service.
